I've not been feeling well lately and what I miss most is my weekly visit to Blue Jay Cafe. Whether it's breakfast, brunch, lunch or gelato, everything is ALWAYS the best. Can't wait to feel better and get back to BLUE JAY CAFE!!😋😋😋
Stopped in and ordered a sandwich, which I switched to a wrap — and I’m so glad I did. The breakfast burrito was easily one of the best I’ve had: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. This place is truly a hidden gem in town. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.
Great food, good prices, clean, homey atmosphere with friendly and courteous staff. We ordered 3 different meals, all were delicious plus, we were able to leisurely eat and chat without being rushed at all. Very happy with this local gem, will definitely be back!
We went with the whole family there this morning. It’s a very good spot for breakfast /brunch. Prices are more than reasonable. Actually pretty cheap to be honest. Food is delicious, people are polite and welcoming and atmosphere is very decent. Very large portions as well. I wish they had freshly squeezed juices to offer, but overall great place.
Stopped by Blue Jay Cafe for the first time and was really impressed. The food was fresh, tasted great, and came out quickly. The menu is super unique and there is something on it satiate any craving. The staff was friendly, and the whole place had a nice, welcoming feel. I'll definitely be back, its my new favorite
I stopped here as I was in town working in the area. Great coffee and breakfast and loved the small cafe atmosphere. When I travel for work I have a rule to not eat at the same place more than once and I came 3 of my 5 lunches!
Quite a find! Don’t be misled by reviews that are trolling for a free meal. This place is a charm! Walked in to a welcoming interior with decor that’s quick to draw a grin. Sweet staff greeted us upon entering. Seat where you’d please (I love that) and menus to peruse with self service drinks. They were busy, but there was amble seating available and that on a Sunday (late a.m.) I could still have a window seat! The menu has so many great choices and I love the flexibility it offers. They don’t throw potatoes and toast onto every plate forcing you to pay for things you don’t want. So for me it was nice to order an omelet and pay for an omelet. If you are into toast or hash browns they can be added for a nominal price. As if that’s not enough there is a special menu on the counter that features seasonally inspired dishes. If you get there in time the Pumpkin Pancakes were amazing (see photo) for putting you in the Autumn mood. Many drinks available in refrigerators by door. Coffee is half way down the main counter (photo) and just a little further is flatware and items to keep the little ones busy while the food is cooking. The food takes a hot minute so if you are looking for quick pickup order ahead. Want quick food…get a microwave. This is being cooked to order, it is delish and worth the wait. Hey, can’t plan this, I even found a heart of bacon in my omelette! Fresh ingredients cooked to order what more can you ask? Yes, all tables were clean and you don’t have to eat sans a fork. What I loved: self seating, order when you wish, the painted front window, that there are real mugs for coffee (but also paper cups), the games and coloring pages for kids, seasonally inspired specials, and of course the menu options and the food! Keep up the good work, rewards will follow. My only advice would be to leave two paper menus at each table.
This café is truly a gem! Every time we visit, we’re reminded why we love coming back. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! You can tell that everything is made with care and quality ingredients. Beyond the amazing food, the hospitality is what really sets this place apart. The owners and staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about every customer who walks through the door. They create such a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like family. We’re so happy to support this local business and can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for great food, wonderful people, and a place that makes you feel right at home, this is it!
I have been eating here since they were in their old location and the food/service/atmosphere have always been amazing. If you are looking for a fantastic small business restaurant this is the place for you. 10/10 recommendation with some awesome portion sizes worth the value.
